Or why not try the convenience of self-catering when you want it, with all the facilities of a hotel on hand with:
Maremma Residential Hotels
Maremma's residential hotels - "residence turistico-alberghiere" - comprise self-catering accommodation such as apartments, individual bungalows or mini "villas", all within a purpose-built complex with centralised services and a hotel. Also often classified as a hotel are "Residence" - residences - which provide apartment accommodation (minimum of seven apartments to be classified as a "residence") with a self-contained kitchen and bathroom, plus a centralised service. You will find both here: Residence Maremma |
When I already know in which town or village I want to stay, I often cut to the chase and dive straight into the reviews of those who have stayed in the hotels there, reading all of the current years recommendations and criticisms. The place I always start with is TripAdvisor, as it lists all of the hotels by traveller ranking and I can then sort by price or something specific that I am looking for, such as a hotel with a beach, free Wi-Fi internet in my room or breakfast included.
This link will take you to the page for the reviews of 4,000 hotels in Tuscany sorted by best to worst, but you can flip the ranking the other way if you wish and find all of the worst hotels first!
