Although Maremma Italy bed and breakfasts are still somewhat rare and well outnumbered by "agriturismi" or farm holiday, and "affittacamere", "camere"/rooms to rent, they do exist and in some of the loveliest of places.

The most extensive range of Maremma bed and breakfast reviews that I know of is on the TripAdvisor website. Here not only can you read thousands of other visitors recommendations, praises and criticisms, but you can quickly sort the bed and breakfast accommodations by price and facilities.

An Italy Bed and Breakfast alternative: Affittacamere
If you cannot find Bed and Breakfast accommodation that is suitable in or around the town in which you wanted to stay, then "Affittacamere/Camere/Rooms" options are worth considering as an alternative. In fact, if you pop into a local tourist office for help in finding a place to sleep for the night and ask for a B&B, an "affitacamera" is usually what you will be told about unless there happen to be rooms owned by expat residents (usually German in Maremma) who know the British love of bed and breakfast and so advertise them as such.
Affittacamere offer the same basic amenities as a bed and breakfast bedroom, but usually without the option of a breakfast or the owner living in the same accommodation. Breakfast can normally be found close by in the local bar and in some cases you will find that the B&B owners have an arrangement with the bar owners for you to eat breakfast there with the price included in the cost of the your accomodation.
