An Online Map of Tuscany

A Great Detailed Map of Tuscany Italy

This wonderfully detailed online map of Tuscany will help you explore medieval hamlets and alleyways, find city car parks and hidden stunning white sand coves... I use it all of the time for my research and travels in Maremma.

If you mouse-click on the map on the part of Tuscany that interests you, at its maximum, the zoom facility will give you such fine detail as medieval alleyways within Tuscan hill towns and hamlets, car parks and narrow country lanes upon which to discover this simply stunning part of Italy.

The satellite version of the map enables you to view the topography of Tuscany's hills and valleys. Just click on "Sat" in the top right-hand corner of the map. At high zoom in this mode, you can even make out individual sun parasols lined-up along her many beaches, apartment blocks and cars... How detailed is that?!

Maremma in Tuscany

Have you visited Tuscany before? Are you looking to explore further afield than her cities of Florence, Siena and Pisa? Never heard of Maremma?

This part of Tuscany - her south-western coastland - is breathtakingly beautiful, wild and unspoilt. Many of Maremma's cities, towns, villages and hamlets reside along a spectacular 250km coastline with both the Ligurian and Tyrrhenian Seas. With panoramic views across crystal clear turquoise and emerald green waters to the Tuscan archipelago that will leave you dreaming of living here.

Her inland medieval hill towns are built upon the tops of the densely wooded ranges of the volcanic Monte Amiata and offer a tranquility so profound that they calm the heart and soul. So well preserved, these oasis will leave you wondering if you have stepped back into the middle ages... or whether that wonderful Tuscan wine at lunch was stronger than you had first thought!

I hope you venture into Maremma and commence a love affair that will have you returning time and time again. I did and stayed!
