This satellite Pian di Rocca Map (prepared using the service of Google Maps) shows the position of the hamlet of Pian di Rocca, near Castiglione della Pescaia, situated near the stunning Maremma Grossetana coastline and surrounded by densely wooded maremman hills.

The agricultural land in which Pian di Rocca sits is renowned for the cultivation of a very small and compact variety of "carciofi", artichokes, that are well suited to storage "sott'olio", in olive oil. A "prodotto tipico della Maremma" - a typical Maremman product.
