This Scarlino hotel is situated amongst pine trees and olive groves at the base of the hill upon which the historic medieval town of Scarlino resides, with its castle the "Castello di Scarlino La Rocca Pisana" at its summit.
Close to the specacular Maremma Grossetana coastline with its gorgeous beaches - including the most beautiful beach in Italy - and the medieval hill towns of Massa Marittima, Castiglione della Pescaia, Gavoranno... it is a good choice for a base from which to explore the treasures of Maremma.
The Alberguccio Ranch Hotel is open all year round and is a mixture of hotel ("albergo") and residential hotel ("residenza turistico-alberghiera"). There are eight guest rooms each with their own bathroom, and fourteen apartments all with their own independent entrance, portico terrace and garden. A swimming pool, tennis court and restaurant.

The Maremma occupies a vast portion of southern Tuscany. Without fixed boundaries, this region can only be identified by its imcomparable scenery, atmosphere, scents, lights and landscapes which are unique and entirely different from the "other" Tuscany.
The Maremma is at the same time bitter and sweet, a "terra" still to be discovered, where the Etruscans left evidence of their history and culture in many places.
Close to the sea, on top of an imposing hill dominating the gulf of Follonica nestles the small medieval township of Scarlino. Surrounded by a rich, unspoiled nature it is protected by cliffs which form dreamscape-like creeks and coves.
At the foot of this hill, only 5 kilometres from the Mediterranean sea, the residence "Ranch Hotel" welcomes its guests. The beautifully restored typical Tuscan mansion is sitting in a vast green park.
Guests share a swimming pool (20 metres by 10 metres) and a tennis court.
A restaurant caters for vacationers looking for a special Tuscan treat.
