Torre Mozza beach is a long wide stretch of fine sand situated along the beautiful Etruscan coast in Maremma Livornese and within the nature park of Parco Naturale Della Sterpaia. It is mainly a public beach and holds the "Bandiera Blu" award - the Blue Flag - for water quality and cleanliness.
The neighbouring popular golden sands to the south of Pratoranieri beach that run into those of the seaside town resort of Follonica. This Tuscany beach is backed by holiday apartments, hotels, and campsites and all of the summer holiday
resources a family needs: from the beach bars, restaurants and sun parasol facilities of the Italian "bagni", to food shops and ice cream parlours.
The adjoining beaches to the north of Carbonifera, Mortelliccio, and Perelli 1, 2 and 3 also in the protected Parco Costeria della Sterpaia that run parallel to the water canal of Fosso Cervia.
