An authentic Italian pizza menu: the fifth in a collection of pizza restaurant menus from Maremma in Italy. In this instance, the menu is a collection of rather wonderful but completely unorthodox combinations of toppings not usually found on pizzas.

 

Called "quelle pizze un poco strane" - "these pizzas are a little strange" - they are only served in the evenings at the Pizzeria and Ristorante La Lanternina 2 Palmieri alongside Pratorantieri beach in the Gulf of Follonica. My favorites to date are the Solange and Andrea... but I am working my way through them all!
