
As with most restaurant dessert menus in Italy, this classic Italian desserts menu features the traditional Italian "Tiramisu", a variety of ice-creams (it is Italy!), sorbets and fresh fruit, plus a few home-cooked creamy and sweet puddings.
It is from one of my favourite restaurants in the seaside resort of Follonica: "La Lanternina 2 Palmieri Ristorante and Pizzeria".

The dessert in the photograph above by checcastef is one of her creations: "Biscotti al Cioccolato con Crema di Mascarpone al Caffe' e Semifreddo ai Frutti di Bosco" - chocolate biscuits with a Marscapone cheese and coffee cream and a soft ice-cream with fruits of the forest. I just love her photographs of food.
